"The Edgewood Outdoor Neighborhood Classroom" is a project through Majestic Education Consulting that assists children in their pursuit of understanding the majestic qualities of God through hands-on nature-based activities. As research continues to highlight the benefits of nature play in child development, the Outdoor Classroom also aims to strengthen child development in areas such as: team work, critical thinking skills and problem solving. Since 2022, the Outdoor Classroom has hosted over 70 nature-based activities in Edgewood, Maryland ranging from Art to Food Science to Public Speaking. Set in a residential neighborhood, many local families are afforded the opportunity to walk to its' location and participate in these nature classes. Unforgettable Guests Speakers (and their creature friends!) have visited the Outdoor Classroom, ranging from Naturalists at local Nature Centers to NASA Scientist, Dr. Kirby Runyon.

Each July is filled with fun-filled nature adventures and community service. We invite you to join us as we learn together!
